Mini Music Moment: Caterpillars, Butterflies, & Ants

It’s “Bug Week” at one of my favorite schools, so I decided to do a couple of blog posts with musical insect activities. Today we start by adapting The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle into a singable story. Then we will hop, climb, eat, spin and sleep like a caterpillar. I bet you can guess how that song will end! Finally, we will learn about the snare drum and play The Ants Go Marching (with the help of my son).
